Lofoten

Such an amazing place to be. Me and my sister Ida did a road trip to the north of Norway, 1200 km in 50 hours. The ladscape is just brethtaking, and it was bursting in colors of green, orange, yellow, black, blue and grey.

It was windy and a bit rainy but it diden´t matter, well we almost blow of the cliffs twice but al safe now!

We made dinner on the gascoocker and went for a surf in Flakstad, love my wetsuite it really keeps me warm! Big thanks to Victor, Kajsas hubbie for lending me his surfboard!

Its great traveling with Ida, never any complaints and always up for an adventure!

Sorry

Havent been able to write here for a while, dont got a proper Internet...well well

The autum is here for sure, and l like it! So many colors to enjoy. Spent the weekend at mum and MIckes since she turned 50 today, party party. I dont hafto eat more this week...stuffed!

Me, Bullen, Ante and my Auntie Maria and her hubbie Johan slept in the little cabin in the back yard, felt like back in the days when we spent the summers togheter, playing, giggeling and laughing our days away.

Its also been a lot of this wordfeud going on, letters and words flying around, its hard with words on C... Emma is giving me a hard time, shes beeting me big time and keeps laughing in my face, but i will get her....just need to get my brains working again....

Its been full on as usual, working in Gothenburg 2 weeks, like it a bit more lively the city then Halmstad...But for now it looks like it will be an autum in Halmstad after 2 weeks up north!

Fire in the garden

Yesterday Macke made a fire in the garden as soon as the sun set behind the rooftops. Burning fire is quite hypnotic...cant keep my eyes of it.. We sat around the fireplace, had a cup of coffe and a bowl of ice cream with home made chocolat sauce made by Conny...Sweet summer night, don´t want it to end...

Surf and turf

at Tylösand yesterday, Pedda and Loa let me come along. So much fun with a SUP in Swedish waves, back in orpet with the boys my body was tired from al the fun. Slept like a baby, havent done that since I started my internship this summer, wow surfing is good for me!!!!!
Need to get myself a well paid job so I can by myself a SUP as a graduate gift!
Oh if I forgot to tell you, I have graduated from the culture and tourism school and Im now ready to make the world a more happy place for everyone and all!
For now you can find me and my smile at Halmstad Tourism office, beeing a good ambassador for Halmstad, such a pefect playes to visit, not just during the summer!

Sunday after noon

In Getinge cleaning out one of my closets...got to many thats for sure!
Sipping a beer and waiting for Mickes bbq to be finished, im spoiled!

Been good today, took mum to Särdals old Wind mill so she could go nuts in the shop, sorted out my stuff and been counting playing cards, quite impressed that me and my sisters been so careful when playing cards back in the days that i only had to throw away to decks out of 10, from missing cards - Heja the Määttäs sisters!
Did a clasic todayt and brought a big load of dirty cloads home to mums, im on my third wash by now, and she got a 9 liters capacity (suppose to be a big one...)! It could be a sign of me working to hard....think I need a holiday!

Need to say sorting, washing, throwing and cleaning makes me tired...Mum just said "dinners ready!" Need to run Im starving!

Back in Strawtown!

Ahh Lapland is great, miss everyone and everything already! Emma and Simon really made a super fun party and I thougth the mosquitos had left me along (now when the alcohol has left my bloodstream i relise thats not the case...so many bites!!)
Its not easy traveling in Sweden to get from The North to Halmsatd i had to take a detour to Copenhagen, do like spending time on the airport, nice feeling to it, people going in every direction.

My roomies gave me a warm welcome, they picked me up from the train station and made me a smoothie - got the best roomies ever! For sure miss Lapland but still nice to be back in the cottage and this week is full on, Tall Ships Races is just around the corner... SUP event need to be planned and fixed!

Back in the village - Vittangi

After 2 days in Obbola with good company, blueberry picking, rottenfish eating, naked swimming in the sea (so underestimated! You feel so free and fresch), pine cone war, reading in the hammock and some health care im now in Vittangi.
Everything is quite far in this part of Sweden, 700 km, a waterfall, millions of pine trees, a giant chees slizer, a audio book and quick stop in Piteå to have a cup of coffe with Valter and Hanna, now im letting my behind rest from the car seat.
Oopps Emma just called im now on duty for food shopping in Kiruna for the wedding.... 140 km more in the car! Sweet!

I gave my niece a cuddle until she fell a sleep, my nephew gave me some exercise since i need to run after him and hes fast that little one!

Ok need to fill me up with some proteins before im off food shopping!

Obbola Obbola

My child hood paradise! Its still a paradise tho only thing different is that im now conected and work as i look out the window, so many smartphones and computers in the cottage by now....time to relax, kick of my shoes, run down to the cliffs and have a dip in the sea!

So miny many blueberries in the woods, will later on today pick them (all) and make a pie! Sweet As Norrland! You Rock!

Tomorrow we will have the delicacy SURSTRÖMMING for dinner, its preffered eaten outside...

Moje is in town doing her buisness, Bigge and Steffo out sopping, and the rest of us have our nosese in our phones, Ipads and macbook pros...ojoj oj where are we heading???

Two days here then moving on up north to playa the vittanche.

Enough im out, will be off picking sticks and pine (plutts)cones and make a farm or something something,

Oslo

More tradgedy, why do people do this crazy things? why do they want to make other people sad? Why do they want to hurt other people? Its hard to understand... watching the news, listen to the rain and thunder outside...

Be kind to each other, we are vulnerable, weird stuff keep happening around the world, we cant predict the outcome. I still belive in karma, keep do good and hopefully good will happen to you.

Wow big thunder storm now need to shut this thing down...

Sauna

8 hours driving and im in the south of the north of Sweden =) Im in Söderhamn with Halmstad & Co I will promote Halmstad to the next years orienteering event O-ringen that will be held in Halmstad. We had a great day, driving was alright, had a cold beer and a piece of meat dor dinner and then a sauna and a swim nice! Go Söderhamn!

But I wounder why grownups need to make weird sounds in the Sauna??? Mhh huh öhh gnöö swhooo and pat themselfs?? Why? Not nice when you hafto sit next to them.

Super duper tired, but glad to be on my way up north!

Glas blowing

Creativ, colorful and physical work with my body, blowing glass was wicked, I made my self a bowl of happiness!
I had heaps of fun and ended up with an audience, sweaty and full of energy I left the glassworks with an Idea that I want to work with something more creativ and lively. This sunday I had a workshop at my place and made art with papier maché, left it all over the place! Love it love it love it! Magnus helped me hes the glass master on Steninge Glashytta. heja Magnus!

Miss Ida , we had lots of fun, ended up with a flat tyre on the E6, got escorted by 3 motorcycle cops, they where great and got us safetly to the gas station so we could put air in the spare tyre. We went SUP and had dinenr with the family Malmberg/Jönsson. I love SUP, Heja Maggie for lending me the coolest SUP ever!

Had some friends over for som BBQ and fotbolls vollyboll...the neigbhor didn´t say a thing!
Thank´s for a great night!

I´m a fortunated girl, got my Parets and my other parents and my "adopted" parents and my Aussie parents, they are great! yesterday my Aussie mum Helen made me risotto, yum yum and we had a great night of laughter and gossip in Lisa and Johans backyard! Sweet as, Lovely!

need to run, got to fix a new cellphone plan so it will work this time up north! Then i promissed to make scones!

Little sister

Marstrand

Such a beautiful place! Went up there yesterday to get some inspiration for the upcomming Tall ships races and Stand Up after Sail in Halmstad 4-8 of August. It was Stena Match cup Sweden that took place, and Jess this is really a Stekigt place! We went through the VIP areas, so many fancy people in sailing gear. Haha not really my cup of tea but they had a Irish guy playing the guitar, that i do like!

This is a preview of what it might look like at the Stand Up after sail during the tall ships races and the SUP event that will take place. Imagine SUP besides 70 ships of this kind? Lovely!

I went SUPing yesterday, so peacful! I went to Grötvik maina where the Elivis imitation gave me a warm welcome and the audience took my picture, got a bottle of water before I waved and paddled away again! Hahah what a promotion tour för SUP! heaps of fun!

I live in my favorite house!

The TORP! Everyday its getting better and better, like my roomies and the garden just gave me heaps of cherries. Me and the boys all helped to make a cherrie brownie, yummie!
I got everything I need, a kitchen, a bed and now a drapery to make my little corner extra cosy, we got a laundry machine (favorite chore, hang the laundry outside..), a lounge, and a big back yard - a perfect place!
I like having someone to chat with after work and someone to cook with and try new recepies..
We have two new hammocks thank´s to Mamma and Micke! Sweet as for my nap times...
